In 2017, Rev. Peter and Betty celebrated 30 years of marriage and Christian ministry. Along with raising their four young adult children, they have served in various leadership capacities in Jamaica, Caribbean and the US, including as the founders/pastors of Port Charlotte International Church since 2003. The Burnetts were also the former Directors (1995-1999) of Caribbean Christ For the Nations Institute in Montego Bay, Jamaica (closed).
Caribbean Christ For the Nations Fellowship of Ministers and Churches (CCFN FMC) is a non-profit religious organization incorporated in the State of Florida since 2012. CCFN FMC was formed by a coalition of concerned friends of Jamaica and the Caribbean, Christian Caribbean leaders as well as alumni of the former Caribbean Christ for the Nations Bible Institute with the goal of supporting the establishment of Emmanuel Caribbean University in Jamaica. The Burnetts returned to Jamaica on December 30th, 2016 to lead that effort.
CCFN FMC also operates under the dba Emmanuel Caribbean Fellowship, Inc. The Board of Directors of CCFN FMC/ECF include: Rev. Peter Burnett (Jamaica) Rev. Bobby Wilmot (Kingston), Rev. Randy Delp (Texas), Rev. Bernaby Joseph (US Virgin Islands), Dr. Ogechuckwu Onuoha (Georgia), Rev. Pam Anderson (Texas), Mrs. Betty Burnett (Jamaica), Mr. Devanesen Moses (Texas), Bishop Donovan Kerr (Jamaica/ Massachusetts) , Mr. Fred Lynch (California) and Rev. Peter Burnett serves as the president of CCFN FMC and ECF, and leads the Emmanuel Caribbean University Project.
